Meghan Fragis joined the Magolan Lab in 2018 as a graduate student at McMaster University with interests in organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. Meghan did her fourth-year research project in the organic synthesis lab of Prof. William Tam at the University of Guelph and has also done research (co-op) in the Department of Engineering at the University of Guelph with Prof. Suresh Neethirajan, where she looked at the cytotoxic effects of Ontario grown onions on breast cancer cells. This four-month project was published in the Journal of Functional Foods in Health and Disease (2018).
